When it began
Padel 365 opened Richmond Park in 2025, and it soon became one of the city’s event venues. In October 2025 it hosted PADEL42, a 42-hour padel marathon that raised support for charities including the Chad le Clos Foundation. In April 2026 Padel 365 hosted the SAPA Cape Town Major presented by Broll, and in October 2026 Richmond Park and its sister club in Century City co-host the first Growthpoint SA National Padel Championships. Padel 365 is co-owned by Paul Atkinson, a former top-five South African squash player.
Off the court
There’s a restaurant, café and snack bar, a pro shop at reception, changing rooms, free and private parking, Wi-Fi and a play park. The courtside tables make it an easy place to watch the next match, and rental rackets are available if you’re new to the game.
Coaching & social play
Coaches run classes such as match-play sessions, bookable on Playtomic, and socials fill the week, from a Tuesday lunchtime social for beginners to a men’s Wednesday morning social.
