2027 Summer League
Finals Weekend
Six champions. One weekend. All at Padel X.
The 2027 Summer League ends at Padel X in Somerset West, where the top four clubs from each group, eight in each of the six divisions, play the quarter-finals, semi-finals, a third-place playoff and the final, for the title and R180,000 in prize money. Around the courts there’s live music, a beer garden, food and drink vendors, sponsor activations and a kids’ zone.

What’s on at Finals Weekend
The padel comes first, but there’s plenty happening around the courts.
Live band
A live band on stage keeps the energy up between matches.
Beer garden
Grab a spot on the benches in the beer garden and settle in with a cold drink.
Food and drink vendors
Local food and drink vendors keep players and supporters fed all weekend.
Kids’ zone
Face painting, plus the Roar Around play park at Somerset Crossing, keeps younger fans busy.
Speeches and trophies
When the last final is done, it’s speeches and the trophy presentation for all six division champions.
The layout
How it all fits at Padel X
Everything is on one site, so you can watch a final, grab something to eat and still be back for the trophies.
- 1Entrance. Off Pacific Close, at the top of the driveway.
- 2Sponsor activations. Brand stands in the front garden as you walk in.
- 3Vendors. Food, drink and stalls down the side of the building.
- 4Roar Around play park. Right next door, for the kids.
- 5Beer garden and stage. Benches, the live band and, after the finals, the trophy presentation.
Supporter parking is in the open field across Pacific Close. This is a concept image, so the final layout may change.

When is Finals Weekend?
Saturday, 1 May 2027, at the end of the Cape Town 2027 Summer League.
Where is it?
At Padel X, 12 Pacific Close, Somerset Crossing, Somerset West. Parking is free.
Who plays at Finals Weekend?
The top four clubs in each group, so eight clubs in each of the six divisions. The quarter-finals cross the groups: A1 v B4, B2 v A3, B1 v A4 and A2 v B3. The quarter-final winners meet in the semi-finals, the semi-final winners meet in the division final, and the semi-final losers play off for third place.
Is there something for the kids?
Yes. There’s face painting, and the Roar Around play park is at Somerset Crossing too.
What happens after the finals?
Speeches and the trophy presentation for all six division champions. Prize money is paid to each winning club within 24 hours of the finals.
