Aura Padel Club fits five indoor panoramic courts, a halaal café and a pro shop into a building in Montague Gardens, off Koeberg Road. It’s built for players who want more than a court booking: every court has replay technology, there’s a supervised kids’ area, physio and massage on site, and a loyalty app that rewards you for every minute you play. It’s one of the first four clubs to enter the Bear Digital Cup Series, and one of the home clubs Cup Series teams can choose at registration.

The courts
All five courts are indoor panoramic doubles courts. The Centre Court has a run-out of more than three metres and its own grandstand, and the Private Court sits in a secluded part of the club with its own bathroom. Every court has Send-It replay technology, and matches are live-streamed on the club’s YouTube channel.
When it began
Aura opened in Montague Gardens in mid-2024. It took a long-term lease on a large industrial unit off Koeberg Road and fitted it out as an all-weather padel club. It has since added a second venue, Aura Padel Club Woodstock, with three indoor courts on Newmarket Street.
Off the court
The halaal-certified coffee shop and restaurant is open to everyone, and so are the changing rooms, lockers and showers. The pro shop sells rackets, balls and accessories. There’s also a warm-up area with a gym, physio and sports massage, a co-working spot, a boardroom and a prayer room.
Coaching & social play
Lessons for every level are booked on Playtomic under “Lessons”, from beginner classes to junior development with the Blueprint Padel Academy. Early risers have men’s and ladies’ Breakfast Clubs, mixed Americanos run through the week, and the club holds regular tournaments for different skill levels.

Are the courts indoor?
Yes. All five courts are indoor panoramic courts, so rain and wind don’t stop play.
How do I book?
Through the Playtomic app, up to 21 days ahead. You don’t need to be a member: non-members book at standard rates.
What are the opening hours?
The club lists 6am to 10pm Sunday to Thursday, and 6am to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Playtomic shows the live slots.
Can I rent a racket?
Yes. Rental equipment is available, and the pro shop sells rackets and balls.
Are there showers and lockers?
Yes. The changing rooms, lockers and showers are open to members and non-members.
